Reddit Ads

Use this guide to connect your Reddit Ads account to Frevana. You only need to create a Reddit developer app, copy two values, and authorize access in the browser.

What You Need

Before you start, make sure you have:

1. A Reddit account that can access your Reddit Ads business.

2. A Reddit Ads account in Ads Manager.

3. Permission to create Developer Applications for that business.

4. A website or business URL to use as the app's About URL.

Step 1: Go to your Reddit Ads Manager

Open Reddit Ads Manager.

Sign in with the Reddit user that has access to your Reddit Ads account.

If you have more than one Reddit Ads business or ad account, select the business you want Frevana to connect to.

Step 2: Open the Business Menu

In the top-left corner of Ads Manager, click the menu button.

In the side menu, scroll until you find the Business section.

Click Developer Applications.

Step 3: Create a Developer Application

On the Developer Applications page, click Add Apps, then choose Create an app

If your business already has a suitable app, you can use the existing app instead. In that case, open it and copy the credentials from that app.

Step 4: Fill Out the App Details

Use values like these:

Field	What to enter
App name	Frevana Reddit Ads - Your Business Name
Description	Connects Reddit Ads data to Frevana for reporting and performance analysis.
About URL	Your company website or product page (optional)
Redirect URL	http://localhost:5558/callback

The Redirect URL must match exactly:

http://localhost:5558/callback

Avoid generic app names such as Test or Reddit Integration. Use a name that makes it clear this app belongs to your business and is used for Frevana Reddit Ads reporting.

Save or create the app.

Step 5: Copy the App Credentials

After the app is created, open the app details page.

Copy these values:

App ID
Secret

Keep the Client Secret private. Do not post it in public channels or shared documents.

Step 6: Confirm Your Reddit Ads Account

Go back to Reddit Ads Manager:

https://ads.reddit.com/accounts

Find the ad account you wish to use, copy the account ID.

Step 7: Send the Setup Values to Frevana

Send Frevana these values:

Reddit App ID: ...
Reddit App Secret: ...
Reddit Ads Account ID: ...

Step 8: Authorize Access

After you send the values, Frevana will open a Reddit authorization page in your browser.

On that page:

1. Sign in with the Reddit user that has access to the Reddit Ads account.

2. Review the requested permissions.

3. Click Allow.

This lets Frevana verify the Reddit user and read Reddit Ads data for reporting and analysis.

What You Can Ask Frevana After Setup

After the connection is complete, you can ask Frevana to:

• Export Reddit Ads campaign data.

• Show campaign performance for the last 7, 14, or 30 days.

• Diagnose campaigns that are spending but not converting.

• Summarize weekly Reddit Ads performance.

• Review whether creative and targeting fit Reddit's community-driven audience.
