2. The 9 Core Workflow Agents

Introduction: The Core Logic Behind the AEO Agent Team

Most traditional tools solve only one problem at a time—such as writing articles, researching competitors, or analyzing keywords. As a result, data becomes fragmented, workflows remain disconnected, and optimization efforts lack consistency.

The Frevana AEO Agent Team is designed differently.

The system consists of:

  • 9 Core Workflow Agents that automatically run in sequence and continuously improve results.

  • Specialized Support Agents that can be launched independently whenever needed.

Each Agent passes its output directly to the next Agent, creating a fully automated optimization loop:

Website Foundation → Customer Demand Discovery → Data Analysis → Content Strategy → Content Production → Conversion Optimization → Performance Review → Continuous Improvement

Unlike traditional SEO tools, the entire workflow is driven by how real users interact with AI answer engines such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity.

The goal is simple:

Increase your brand's visibility, rankings, citations, and conversions inside AI-powered search experiences.

2.1 Site Auditor

What Does It Do?

The Site Auditor reviews and optimizes your website's three critical infrastructure files:

  • sitemap.xml

  • robots.txt

  • llms.txt

It identifies technical issues and ensures AI models can properly crawl, understand, and index your website.

Why Is This Important?

Before AI systems can read your content, they first rely on these files to determine:

  • Which pages are accessible

  • How your website is structured

  • Which content should be prioritized for AI understanding

If these files are configured incorrectly, AI platforms may miss important pages—even if the content itself is excellent.

Role in the Workflow

Foundation Layer

This is the starting point for the entire AEO process. Every downstream Agent depends on a properly configured website environment.

Without a strong foundation, all later optimization efforts become significantly less effective.

2.2 Prompt Researcher

What Does It Do?

The Prompt Researcher uncovers the actual questions users are asking AI platforms.

It identifies:

  • Customer pain points

  • Unmet needs

  • Emerging search trends

  • Long-tail opportunities

Why Is This Important?

Traditional keyword research focuses on search engines.

AEO focuses on AI conversations.

Instead of targeting keywords like:

"best CRM software"

Users now ask:

  • What's the easiest CRM for a small business?

  • Which CRM integrates with Shopify?

  • What CRM is best for beginners?

By discovering real AI-native questions, businesses can create content that directly matches user intent.

Role in the Workflow

Demand Discovery Engine

The Prompt Researcher creates the customer demand database that powers the entire content strategy.

It determines what topics should be prioritized across the workflow.

2.3 Data Scientist

What Does It Do?

The Data Scientist combines:

  • User prompt data

  • Competitor visibility data

  • Brand citation data

  • AI search exposure metrics

It then generates dashboards, reports, and optimization priorities.

Why Is This Important?

Raw data alone provides limited value.

To make smart decisions, businesses need to understand:

  • Where competitors are winning

  • Where visibility gaps exist

  • Which opportunities offer the highest return

The Data Scientist transforms scattered information into actionable business intelligence.

Role in the Workflow

Strategic Intelligence Hub

This Agent serves as the analytical center of the entire system.

It converts research data into clear optimization priorities that guide all future content creation.

2.4 Content Strategist

What Does It Do?

The Content Strategist identifies content gaps and creates a comprehensive content roadmap.

It develops:

  • Topic clusters

  • Content priorities

  • Editorial guidelines

  • Content expansion opportunities

Why Is This Important?

AI answer engines favor brands that provide complete coverage across the customer journey.

If competitors answer more customer questions than you do, they are more likely to be cited and recommended.

The Content Strategist helps build a complete content ecosystem that fills those gaps.

Role in the Workflow

Content Command Center

This Agent translates strategic insights into concrete content plans and distributes writing assignments across content-generation Agents.

2.5 Article Writer

What Does It Do?

The Article Writer automatically creates publish-ready AEO blog content.

Each article is optimized to:

  • Match user intent

  • Align with AI answer preferences

  • Incorporate brand messaging naturally

  • Follow best-practice content structures

Why Is This Important?

AI models prefer content that is:

  • Clear

  • Comprehensive

  • Well-structured

  • Directly relevant to the question being asked

The Article Writer follows proven AEO frameworks to maximize AI readability and citation potential.

Role in the Workflow

Core Content Producer

This Agent creates the foundational educational and informational content that drives long-term visibility.

2.6 Scenario Analyst

What Does It Do?

The Scenario Analyst maps the customer's buying journey and identifies the real-world situations that influence purchasing decisions.

It examines:

  • Who the customer is

  • Why they buy

  • When they buy

  • What concerns influence decisions

Why Is This Important?

Most AI searches are highly contextual.

For example:

  • Best treadmill for small apartments

  • Best CRM for Shopify stores

  • Best AI tool for solo consultants

Users care about outcomes and situations—not just product features.

Content aligned with real customer scenarios is more likely to be recommended by AI and trusted by buyers.

Role in the Workflow

Relevance Optimization Layer

This Agent ensures content closely reflects actual customer decision-making behavior.

2.7 Best Review Writer

What Does It Do?

The Best Review Writer creates detailed comparison and review content for specific use cases.

It compares competing products while highlighting your product's unique strengths.

Why Is This Important?

Before making a purchase, users frequently ask AI questions such as:

  • Best project management software for agencies

  • Best email marketing platform for eCommerce

  • Best AI writing tool for startups

Review and comparison content is highly favored by AI answer engines because it directly supports purchase decisions.

Role in the Workflow

Conversion-Focused Content Engine

This Agent creates high-intent content designed to influence buying decisions and increase conversions.

2.8 FAQ Page Maker

What Does It Do?

The FAQ Page Maker automatically generates FAQ pages optimized for AI search and voice search.

It covers large volumes of highly specific user questions.

Why Is This Important?

Many AI searches involve short, niche, and highly targeted questions.

Examples include:

  • Is it free?

  • Does it support Shopify?

  • Is it beginner-friendly?

  • Can I use it internationally?

Traditional blog articles cannot efficiently cover every long-tail question.

FAQ pages allow brands to capture this valuable traffic at scale.

Role in the Workflow

Traffic Expansion Engine

This Agent broadens content coverage and captures additional long-tail visibility opportunities.

2.9 Competitor Analyst

What Does It Do?

The Competitor Analyst continuously monitors:

  • Brand visibility

  • Competitor rankings

  • AI citations

  • Market shifts

It evaluates the effectiveness of the entire optimization process and identifies new opportunities.

Why Is This Important?

AI search ecosystems evolve constantly.

Competitors publish new content. AI ranking signals change. New questions emerge every day.

Without continuous monitoring, rankings can quickly decline.

Role in the Workflow

Performance Review & Optimization Loop

This Agent closes the workflow loop by generating insights that feed directly into the next optimization cycle.
